San Pedro Altair Red / 750mL

I love the nose of the 2019 Altair, produced with a blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc, 7% Syrah and 2% Carmenere, with less Cabernet and a more peppery and spicy profile. It has ripeness and 14.6% alcohol but with no excess and is nicely balanced but with some grippy tannins, perhaps the effect of the warmer year.
