Since 1972, Marketview Liquor has been bringing exceptional wines and spirits to discerning customers – beginning humbly as “Vintage Liquors,” a part-time wine and liquor shop in Penfield, NY. What started as a brotherly partnership (with my brother Dan) soon became my full-time passion when I purchased his share and relocated to a larger space.
Our Journey of Growth
After navigating lease challenges that led us to the Henrietta Plaza (where we briefly operated as “Marketview Liquor” due to our view of the Tops grocery store), we faced three tough years of rebuilding our customer base. Through strategic advertising and perseverance, we turned the corner – achieving profitability and outgrowing our space not once, but twice. Our commitment to excellence led us to:
• Establish an outside warehouse to meet growing demand
• Move to our current flagship location (27,000 sq ft) in 2003, complete with expanded storage facilities
• Launch our e-commerce platform in 2007, now serving customers nationwide
